Lonkalonka from Western Australia were traditionally worn around the waist as a pubic cover. This one is classic with a beautiful engraved interlocking key design in-filled with red ochre. There is a human hair rope and a bit of western yarn attached. The piece dates to the late 19th/early 20th century, is 6 ½” (16.5 cm) in height and sells for $2,400. Questions?
