This elegant club or spear thrower comes from Australia's Western Desert area--there is a notch at the top of the piece that suggests the previous presence of the hardwood prong of a spear thrower. Either way this example exhibits good age and a fine, sophisticated geometric design classic for the area. The piece is 29 ½" in height, comes with a custom display mount and sells for $1400.
