John Downs collected these three Massim lime spatulas in the 1940s as well. The left example has two fine back-to-back figures with stylized bodies in-filled with white lime. It is 14 ¼" (36.3 cm) in height and sells for $1400. The middle example has the classic four-flanged style handle but with the addition of a tiny, sweet bird head at the top. This spatula is 15 ½" (39 cm) in height and sells for $650. The right hand spatula has an elongated panel of curvilinear motifs surmounted by a well-executed birds head. This spatula has a really nice aged patina with good remains of both white lime and a bit of red pigments. This one is 12" (30.3 cm) in height and sells for $1000. Questions?
