This is an excellent "Moungalaulau" style war club from Tonga purchased by the prior owner from the late dealer Norman Hurst in the 1980s. The club has a nice stylized figure standing amid the intricately carved pattern. The piece is early 19th century and is 37 1/2" (95 cm) in height. sold
