Oceanic Art - Miscellaneous Enlargement

This elegant food plate comes from the Lake Sentani area of New Guinea's Northeast coast. The plate has a nice stylized zoomorphic figure carved in relief outlined with red pigments. The piece has an aged brown patina from decades of field use. The plate is 24 ½" in height, comes mounted on a custom display stand. sold
