Oceanic Art - Personal Decoration Enlargement

This beautiful piece of jewelry comes from the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea. It would have been worn as a pectoral and consists of numerous pieces of polished green turban shell attached to a woven cane cord (some of the shell pieces are attached with what looks like black yarn).
