This striking piece is a human hair headdress from the Huli people of Papua New Guinea's Southern Highlands. The headdress is unusual for the addition of red earth pigments and the more pronounced upward sweeping ends. There are two tiny silver plastic bits near the top of each crest and the cane strips are pinned into place with metal pins. The headdress measures 13" in height and 15" wide, comes with a custom display mount and sells for $1400. Questions?
