Oceanic Art - Enlargement

This unusual piece is a cave figure from the Upper Karawari River area at the headwaters deep in Papua New Guinea's Central Range. The piece is pre-contact and stone carved. The figure is 29" in height and would have been used in hunting magic. It comes mounted on a custom display stand. sold
