This ancient drum from the Yangoru Boiken area is absolutely pre-contact and stone-carved. The style is the classic, "flute-playing" type common in the area. Drums meant to be held and beat at the same time the player holds a bamboo flute to his mouth have no handle but two lugs where a fiber shoulder strap was attached. The drum is 30" in height. sold
