The Art
of West Sepik is my latest catalog focusing on the little known material culture
of the Torricelli Mountains and other remote areas of the West Sepik Province
of Papua New Guinea. The art is predominantly stark and austere, often without
surface decoration but with powerful, archaic forms. The catalog illustrates
over 50 never before published art objects in 68 pages. The catalog can be
