This elegant little bowl is one of the smallest Matty Island bowls I have ever come across. The sides are very thin as with all older, better Matty bowls. And the bottom side edge is a continuous flowing line as opposed to the more clunky angular ones. The piece was collected in the 1960s and has resided in a private Texas collection ever since.
