Oceanic Art - Miscellaneous Enlargement

This shell pectoral is a moka kina from the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. In the Southern Highlands more often than not the style is crescent shape as opposed to the larger full circular style found with the more common Western Highlands moka kina. This one is 8 ½" in height, comes mounted on a custom display stand and sells for $1000. Questions?
