This unusual piece is a wood dance axe from the Washkuk area north of the middle Sepik River. The piece comes from the famous Fortess Collection of Hawaii (L 24632), has nice remains of red, white and black pigments, dates to the 1930s, is 25" in height and sells for $1500. Questions?
