This stout club is a Massim sword club from the Leo Fortess Collection of Hawaii. It has Fortess’ label on it with the following information "London, Christies, "Akamba" (probably name of sale), 11/10/81 #346, Royal Commonwealth Society." The piece has a nice aged brown patina with good remains of white lime in-filling of the incised decoration. The club is 28 ˝" in height. sold
