Since I am no expert on Fijian clubs I’ll quote Fergus Clunie in his "Fijian Weapons and Warfare" on this type of club "Waka—a classic heavy, skull smashing waka; a type typified by the short length of retained tap root and the mace-like buttress roots of the uprooted sapling from which this club was made" (1977, p. 131). This example comes from the Fortess Collection in Hawaii, has a glossy golden patina and a couple common longitudinal age cracks on one side. The club is 40 ¾" in length and sells for $3400.
