This tiny Massim figure probably comes from the top of a large lime spatula. The figure has the classic elbows to knees pose with its hands resting under the chin. The piece is carved from ebony wood and has substantial age as evidenced by the glossy patina and holes cut into the elbows and knees where shell beads would have been attached. Overall the figure is 4 5/8" in height, dates to the late 19th century. sold
