This large Massim lime spatula is called a "gobaela" and is used more as a exchange and prestige object than an utilitarian lime spatula. The piece has the classic crescent shape top but is unusual for the carved stylized face, the remains of pigment and the shell attachments still intact. The spatula dates to the 1930s, is 19 ¼" in height. sold
