This drum comes from George Craig’s Marineland Melanesia Museum on Green Island in Queensland Australia. The drum originates in Papua New Guinea’s Western Province somewhere near Nomad or the headwaters of the Fly River. It has a wonderful painted design and an old, "dry" patina. The drum is 36 ¼" in length, dates to the 1940s and sells for $1500. Questions?
