This small headdress would have adorned a ritually grown long yam in the southern Abelam known as the Wosera. It is unusual for being a combination of wood and coiled cane construction. In the center of the wood panel is carved a charming winged-figure. The colors are strong and the patina is well aged. The piece is 18" in height, dates to the 1930's. sold
