This lime spatula comes from the remote Goodenough Island, northwest in the Massim culture area. The spatula is surmounted by four ancestral figures and the design is in-filled with white lime. The piece shows good age and field use with it dating to around 1930. It was field collected by my brother Greg earlier this year. The spatula is 17 ¾" in length and sells for $1500. Questions?
