This is a very old coiled cane "baba" helmet mask from the West Yangoru/Bukie area above Ulupu on the southern slopes of New Guinea's Prince Alexander Mountain range. It is of a very old style, has many layers of pigments, an encrusted patina, is pre-1920, is 15" in width. sold
