This set of three figures are actually the tops of Ramu River canoe paddles. Here once the paddle blade becomes broken or useless the ancestral figurative tops are removed and kept as memories to either the carver or owner of the paddle. The figures themselves are excellent examples of Ramu River figurative art on a small scale. The figures show extensive age and good, solid patinas. They range in height from 5 ½" to 7 ½". sold
