This old drum comes from the Torricelli Mountains to the west of Lumi in Papua New Guinea’s West Sepik Province. It has a well-executed design carved in relief and colored with red and yellow pigments. The piece has an excellent aged and glossy patina, stands 20 1/2" in height, tympanum is missing. sold
