This is a rare figurative coconut cup from the remote Rawlinson Mountain Range in Morobe Province’s Huon Peninsula. The ancestral face is nicely composed with eyes and nose carved in relief. The cup dates to the early/mid 20th century, is 5" in height and sells for $600. Questions?
