This is a fine Massim shell "bagi" necklace with red spondylus shell discs and a white ovula shell at the top and a nearly fully rounded boars tusk at the bottom. Such bagi were considered wealth objects to exchange and/or hoard. This one has good age and nice bright red shells. The piece is 16" as mounted, is pre-1930. sold
