This beautiful shield comes from Australia’s Central Desert area. It is carved from the beanwood tree, has the classic concentric circle motif and nice remains of fluffy feathers. The reverse has an all-over red ochre surface. The piece dates to the 1930s, is 24 ¾" in height. sold
