This old and classic coastal Ramu River area mask comes from the collection of Isabel Pert of Queensland Australia. Mrs. Pert was a prominent resident of Madang and avid collector of artifacts in the 1960s and 70s. This mask has an old bite stick on the reverse along with Mrs. Pert’s inventory number "0432" inscribed in ink. The mask is 16" in height, dates to the early 20th century. sold
