This large male figure comes from the Lower Sepik area around the Murik Lakes. It has the classic large head that juts forward and down. There is an old tapa loin cloth and remains of human hair embedded in clay on the forehead and chin. The nose has a deeply pierced septum. The figure is 25 ½" in height. sold
