This is the top section of a very old Coastal Sepik or Coastal Ramu River neckrest-the two cane legs that don't last long are missing. The ancestral faces are good and old with nice volumes and the decoration on the underside is clear and deep. The neckrest is pre-1920, has a great patina, is 11" in length and sells for $900.
