This mask is one of the rare female versions of the Inland Turubu mosquito masks known as "lemmings." While this piece is not pre-contact it is an early example with good wear and some heavy erosion on the forehead. Even though the erosion is extensive on the one side of the face, the piece is solid and stable. The mask is 15 ¼" in height, dates to the 1940s, comes with a custom display stand. sold
