This is a set of seven fighting arrows from the area west of Nuku on the southern slopes of the Torricelli Mountains in Papua New Guinea’s West Sepik Province. The bamboo or hardwood tips are hooked to take as much "meat" with it as possible when being removed. This group dates to around 1930, the arrows are mounted individually, range in size from 59 ½" to 63" in height. sold
