This is a very rare clay pot from the Sunahu Kwanga area to the west of the southern Abelam region. It has a beautifully composed design of ancestral figures with the classic pointed headdress. What is rare about this pot is the strong extant traditional pigments. The pot is 9" in height, dates to the 1930/40s. sold
